Composition Database"Compo" as it is colloquially known is a putty like substance used as a means of producing enrichments without recourse to the long established method of woodcarving.
From the collection of reverse cut moulds a countless number of fine enrichments can be pressed and then added to plaster models or dressed onto fine joinery elements such as architraves, picture frames, dado rails and other timber settings. Composition remains flexible whilst dressed into position. Once fixed the material sets hard ready to receive decoration.
